A Milk Jar Guide to Mondays

Mondays are the worst. We have to say goodbye to the weekend, and hello to the work week - and, worst of all, the Milk Jar shop is closed! Because we aren't able to usher you through these dark times ourselves, we decided to put together a little guide to start your week off on the right foot.

1. Visit the Los Angeles County Museum of Art

It's no secret that LACMA is one of the most fun activities here in LA, but did you know about their free admission programs? Thanks to their awesome benefactors, our neighbors open up their doors to LA County residents every Monday from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM - for free!!

2. Check out the Beverly Hills Public Library

As far as we're concerned, every Library makes for a fantastic adventure. This gem in the heart of Beverly Hills has expansive collections worth wandering. Best part? It's free! Swing by on a quiet Monday, and pick out some reading material for your next visit to the Milk Jar shop!

3. Scroll through the official MJC Instagram.

While you can't quite visit the shop on a Monday, you can get pretty close with a good old trip through the Milk Jar Cookies Instagram!

4. Wind down with the neighborhood's best happy hour.

We're big fans of Rascal, one of Miracle Mile's best restaurants and hot spots! With great American cuisine and some killer drinks, you can't go wrong bringing a couple friends by. The best part: Happy Hour goes all night long on Mondays.

5. Take your inner theatre geek out to play at Musical Mondays!

While some folks are winding down at home, celebrating surviving Monday, the good folks at Rage in West Hollywood are going full out. Check out this hilarious, fun weekly cabaret celebrating all things campy, featuring a rotating cast of the hottest musical theatre performers around town.
